Jump city playdate and being pregnant

We had a blast having a playdate first time after we got back from Indonesia with Middy and Bella. My mom had a great time, too, watching the kids played so well together despites of their 2 year differences. After, we ate at McDonalds, and they both said they are Sari because they both pregnant with little basket balls. It was so funny.

I am glad you are here.

After a lot of struggling for the past 2 nights going to bed with her daddy (yes, daddy has been working so much and the little daughter really acted up on him just because she was complaining !!!), mommy decided to bath and tugged nadia to bed, halfway getting dressed after bath, daddy arrived home and I sent him back to work (he still have so much work to be done even when he got home), mommy dressed Nadia up, then put her to bed.
This is our conversation after we read the book.

Nadia : Rub my back, mommy
Mom : Okay, but then forgetting that she has to rub the back, she touch her hair and gently swiped her hand on her face and cheek.
Nadia : (complaining) Rub my back, mommy!!
Mom : Okay.
Nadia : Mommy, I am sad because you touch my hair.
Mom : Oh, I am so sorry, I touch your hair because I love you. You know something nadia, when I touch your hair and face and cheek, that means I love you so much!!! Do you understand ?
Nadia : smile, yes, mommy. I am happy.
Nadia : Mommy, I am glad you are here. Daddy doesn't rub my back.
Mom : Okay nadia, now, I need to go to bed, I love you.
Nadia : I love you soooooo much, Mommy. Good night.

In the bed, I talked with Ammar about our conversation :
Ammar said : "Hey, I rub her back!!!"
We both laughed.

Cooking chestnut with Nadia

The wonderful friends

My mother came with me to the shower. Nadia got picked up (we stopped in the middle for Ammar to get Nadia when he finished from work and we were driving to Maria's house for baby shower). A good thing, Nadia didn't get a chance to see her daddy this morning, she was sad and said to me that her daddy left her. When she saw her daddy, she jumped to him and happily went to his car. They had a wonderful time as daddy-daughter time at the new Chelsea Tree House and then McDonalds!!!
Myself and my mom had the most wonderful time spending time with my very best friends at the shower.

A baby shower

Wonderful decoration, wonderful setting, wonderful friends, wonderful food, and wonderful presents. Can't thank you enough, everyone!!!

How will he come out, mom ?

Nadia has been asking about this questions for a long time (at least a month).

Nadia : (touching the belly). How will the baby come out, Mommy ?
Mommy : "The doctor will cut mommy's belly then stitch it again"

Sometimes Ammar asked how the baby will come out.
Ammar : How the baby comes out, Nadia ?
Nadia : Daddy, I am worry. Mommy will have surgery. They will cut mommy's belly.
Ammar : That's okay, nadia... she will be okay. She won't feel it because it doesn't hurt. They will give medicine.

At school :
Nadia : "The doctor will take the baby out of mommy's belly. Mommy is sick. I am worry"

Once in a while :
Ammar : How the baby comes out, Nadia ?
Nadia : With a magic machine!!!!!!!

Now since my mom stays with us, I sometimes leave Nadia with my mother so I can go to the doctor.
Once I got home, she would run to me and the first thing she check is my belly...
Nadia : Mommy!!!!! Is your belly still big ?

This morning I felt drowsy and miserable. The cold got me.
Nadia jumped on the bed and asked : Mommy, are you okay ?
Mommy : No, I don't feel good.
Nadia : Mommy, are you okay ?
Mommy : No, I am sick.
Nadia : Mommy............. ARE YOU OKAY ?
Mommy : No, I am a little sick.
Nadia : MOMMY!!!!!!! ARE YOU OKAY ?!!!!!
(realizing that she would not stop asking if I said No) Mommy : Yes, Nadia. I am okay.
Nadia : (silent, and pleased)

Can I see ? Can I see ?

I turned my daughter to become a camera ham.

My mother has breakfast

My mother stays with us for the birth of Nadia's little brother. Despites of her sickness, she is a real help. Thanks to her, too, I eat breakfast religiously now.

Likes to climb

Nadia so sudden just loves to climb and very very active. Being 36 weeks pregnant sometimes it is hard to dress her up or just to take her to go peepee. Thanks God she is such a happy girl, especially in the morning.

comments

After dinner, Sari asked Ammar to give her a hug while she was still sitting on the dining chair for him to massage her back. It has been so painful recently. Nadia watching us.
Sari : Please massage the back for me.
Ammar : okay. Is it better ?

So sudden, Nadia asked her mommy : "Mommy, what's your problem ?"
Sari and Ammar laughed and laughed... until now when we remember about her comment, we still laugh about it.

Nadia now starting to 'wants to know' every single thing she doesn't understand, she will ask what we were talking about when she heard us talking she doesn't understand... or she would give comments or order the same thing she heard from her dad or mom who gave orders to each other.
let's say : "Sari, you put too much water on the bulgur, it is so mushy now"
Nadia will add : "Mommy, don't put too much water, it is so mushy!!!"

Ahhhhh... being very very pregnant

Since it will be another month for the baby to be born, I feel so much in pain, my back pain, and just under the ribs on the right side, always kills me. It's where the baby always kicks and lands his feet on.
When I was pregnant with Nadia, I had a hot bath every single morning, and I don't really feel the pain as much as I am now. With another kid around, it's just hard to pamper yourself being pregnant.

After the black out of power for 2 days and we had to stay at the hotel, we really realized how we got blessed with way over the hotel standards in our house. We love our house so much and my mom who visited from jakarta also said that our house is so nice.

Last night, finally I pampered myself after folding all the huge amount of laundry I left for almost 2 weeks by dipping myself in our jacuzzy tub in the master bedroom. Gosh.. the pain is gone... of course not for long because after that it came back. I miss Indonesia just to have the massager lady come to the house and do 2 hours of massage for $10!

After all, Thank you God for giving us a very nice house to live in. I am pretty sure at this time my favourite spot in the house will be the jacuzzi tub for night time after I tug Nadia to bed.

Popsicle

We got home and my mother got excited to see the snow, so Nadia and her tried to walk to the playground in the backyard from the garage. Halfway, Nadia dragged her grandma and said : "My hands are so cold!! IT HURTS!!" So they went back to the sunroom, and guess what she asked for ? She asked for popsicle. She finished her ice then she spent time at home, enjoying the warmth from the heating, yes.. the power is back on and of course, she played with her cars.

Cool swimming pool

The pool was surprisingly very warm, and it has the connection to the outdoor pool which was heated, but we had to dive in to go outdoor and Nadia loved it to be in and out the pool. Due to her runny nose, I couldn't let her stay outdoor for a long time. She enjoyed every minute of missing her school time by swimming today.

Stayed at the hotel

A lot of houses have power outage. It was so cold inside the house that Ammar sent us to spend the night at the hotel. It was the 5th hotel he called still have vacant. Nadia had a good time swimming at the hotel. Of course, posing with the frozen trees when we got home.

Ice storm

My mother, posing in front of the house, with her new coat for her birthday, and we have power outage. Sweet! We sent Nadia to school because it is really no fun to be home cold and no power.
