Cute friendship
When I picked Nadia up from school on Friday, Miss Mehar told me that Nadia became very good friends with Morgan. I thought Nadia's best friend is Charlotte who hugs and kisses Nadia every time.
Today, Ammar couldn't take Nadia to school, so I did. I dropped her in the class room, and Nadia told me : "Mommy, that's my best friend." pointing at Morgan. Then Morgan saw Nadia and excitedly she came to Nadia, gave her big hug, and Nadia hugged back and they hugged each other for a full 2 minutes.
It was so cute, I wish I had my camera with me this morning.

Something about a man and a remote
Nadia, who got so close with her daddy, doesn't want to go to sleep and decided to wait until her daddy comes back home from playing tennis, I told her no because then she will be so sleepy and not be able to go play at Jump City with Bella and her new friend, Brendan. She agreed, then fell asleep after I brushed and flossed her teeth and read her favourite book, shape for lunch.
I just remember something that Nadia has already known the men's habit about remote control and the TV. After each dinner, they usually share TV and once Nadia loves the TV channel, she would grab the remote from her Daddy's hand and throw it away from him, making sure he is not flipping the channels anymore... YES, NADIA!!!

Suckifier
After a while, finally Nadia had interest on her baby Aidan. Aidan cried while we were eating dinner, so Nadia jumped down the chair and checked on him who was sleeping in the playpen.
Ammar asked her if he was okay. Nadia said he is crying and opened his eyes. So Sari got him and feeding him.
After dinner, Mommy gave Aidan pacifier, he doesn't usually like pacifier, and Nadia who is a thumb sucker, asked what was that. I told her that it was her old pacifier... and we got Aidan new pacifier, he didn't like it, he likes Nadia's baby's pacifier.
Mommy : "Can you say pacifier, Nadia ?"
Nadia : "Pacifier.... "
Mommy : "Great.. you are a smart girl. You can call it binky, too."
Nadia : "Binky"
The next day, Nadia gave the pacifier right away to Aidan when he is crying, and proudly said : "Mommy, Daddy!!! I gave baby Aidan SUCK-a-FIER!!!"
We both loved the new name!!!
I does make a better sense for that thing to be called " SUCK-a-FIER" than Pacifier. Great job, Nadia.
Ever since, she calls it suckifier.

We are a happy family
Ammar went home early (yes, almost 5.30 pm is early for Ammar) today and he got Nadia from school. She didn't take a nap today, I expected her to be cranky when she got home. No.. I was wrong, she was happy as she can be, we ate dinner right away (yes, I started to cook again today), and she finished up all her mac and cheese. She also ate the brownie the student nurse brought us today, and of course a lollipop for a desert.
We have a rule ... no candy after finished up her meal.
We spent good time after wards, Ammar was goofing around with Nadia and Aidan.. he made Aidan 'walk', make him as if he can do whatever Nadia does.. Nadia went on the baby swing, pretended to be a baby... and cried like a baby, and of course, putting the pacifier, too.
At the end, we sat together, side by side, I was holding Aidan, Ammar was holding Nadia, we looked at each other, told Nadia that we are family, 2 boys and 2 girls.. no more babies, and only 4 of us. Nadia looked at baby Aidan, and smiled... No more jealousy, she definitely loves her baby brother, and she acted like a 5 year old. She just turned 3 in less than a week and her ability to understand and to act as if she is so much older than her age. She really knows what a family is, even though we have my mother visiting, she knows her family is daddy, mommy, herself and Aidan.
She also have this habit of sitting down for dinner all together, no one allowed to have a bite before everyone is sitting down together. One time, Ammar was still standing up, and he told my mother to eat first, my mom took a bite, Nadia told my mom not to have a bite until Daddy is sitting down together... what a good girl!!
