Popsicle
We got home and my mother got excited to see the snow, so Nadia and her tried to walk to the playground in the backyard from the garage. Halfway, Nadia dragged her grandma and said : "My hands are so cold!! IT HURTS!!" So they went back to the sunroom, and guess what she asked for ? She asked for popsicle. She finished her ice then she spent time at home, enjoying the warmth from the heating, yes.. the power is back on and of course, she played with her cars.
Cool swimming pool
The pool was surprisingly very warm, and it has the connection to the outdoor pool which was heated, but we had to dive in to go outdoor and Nadia loved it to be in and out the pool. Due to her runny nose, I couldn't let her stay outdoor for a long time. She enjoyed every minute of missing her school time by swimming today.
Stayed at the hotel
A lot of houses have power outage. It was so cold inside the house that Ammar sent us to spend the night at the hotel. It was the 5th hotel he called still have vacant. Nadia had a good time swimming at the hotel. Of course, posing with the frozen trees when we got home.

First snow
Finally after waiting for 4 days, my mother had her very first snow in her life. This was taken when we were about to pick Nadia up from school, it is also Nadia's first day at school after being away for 1.5 months.
Bad jetlag
Nadia's first day at school today. It's 5 days after we arrived. We picked her up at 4.30 pm, and she was still lying down, hardly woke up. Thanks to her school director, she knew Nadia was still having a jetlag, she let her sleep all afternoon. It took us 1 hour to get her home... It was just so funny that it took Nadia to be jetlag after 3 days we arrived in the States, the same thing with the rest of us.

I love my American home
The next morning, Nadia just as happy as she could be. She was HOME. And she told me she likes her American home. I have never seen her that happy. She enjoyed every minute playing at home. She also played with her uncle Bill, laughed so much. She was in ecstacy. My mother asked her to kiss her, she let the giraffe kissed her. She also kept asking where the snow went. It was such a weird winter, we got 45 degree when we arrived in Detroit and no snow in the ground, and her daddy had already told her that once she flew with 3 airplanes home, she will see snow in the ground. Too bad, and my mom got disappointed, too...

I am working, too, Daddy
Waiting to depart again from Singapore, Nadia was patiently waiting and sat down watching her movie while her daddy worked on his lecture. Do you think she will be an eletric gadget girl when she grown up ?
