The real organizer
New Car for Nadia and Mom
After a long week, finally Mom and Dad chose the car they really like. We went to the dealer to sign a paper, Nadia just went banana.. she loves it and was running around the cars, and kept saying :"New Car!".
Daddy went back to work after, and when Mommy driving back to the house, Nadia was so happy in the car, the back windows have black tinted, so she didn't have to wear sunglasses and she could see out very well, unlike in Daddy's car.
Daddy went to work afterwards, and she got off the car in the garage, and kept looking at the new car. Nadia said "Hi, New Car" several times when she was inside the house, opening the door to the garage...
I think she is more excited than Mom about the new car.

I am Billy, friend of Rolie Olie Polie
Nadia loves her school so much. She loves Rolie Olie Polie, she pretended to be Billy, the square, friend of Olie. Also she said she was wearing 3 "scarves".
She through garbage in the garbage cans, and put all the empty cups from the living room to the kitchen. What a big helper!!
She got excited playing with the balloon she got from the dealer (Mom had been running around looking for new car!!)

Very busy Saturday.
We had a date to see the children's play at the Towsend Theatre in the morning with Melissa (the mom), Gustavo (Guga) and Milla (Nadia's friend from Gymboree). We had the greatest time. The kids really enjoyed the play. We are so glad we live in a children's friendliest city in the country, Ann Arbor.. so much to do for kids.
We stopped by at Mcdonalds, Guga fought for Nadia when a reaaly bad 3 y.o pushed Nadia on her stomach with his foot. Nadia hugged guga for a long time, they stared each other for like 2 minutes, that was the cutest ever.... Nadia thinks Guga is her hero. Guga would take Nadia's shoes off and hold her hands, forgetting that he has sister, Milla.
In the afternoon after nap, they came over with Luca's family for family gathering. It was one wonderful day. Luca's mommy is pregnant and we threw little baby shower. Nadia loves Luca's daddy, Chris.

Just mommy and nadia
Big Girl
Nadia is 2 years old and 17 days. She can count 1 to 10, memories alphabets, sings most of the children songs fluently, asking for help, some sign languages, name most of the zoo animals and ocean's animals, has imagination of her daddy flies the airplane, LOVES, literally loves the Wheels on the bus songs and changes the words into something she loves, like the wheels on daddy's car go round and round, or wheels on the train, etc, eating with spoons, mastered all the basic puzzles, name all the shapes, knows some colors like yellow-blue-purple-pink-red, some Indonesian words (not much, but enough), she loves teasing and laugh or being a clown so we would laugh. She would remind us of what she likes.. like :"Remember daddy, the choo choo train and tickets, or the submarine, diver, octopus, etc." Very very very friendly girl. Today, we had a visitor, a guy who installs the gas pipe to convert our fireplace to the gas fireplace, she would just talks to him, telling stories, very very clear words. Her favorite movies are Little Einstein, Dora the Explorer, Wallace and Gromit, Polar Express, and most of all : Rolie Polie Olie. She loves playing with jigsaw puzzles and animal stringing, also cutting the fruit with knife (pretending play). Her favorite drink is SODA!!!! Her favorite food is rice and eggs. She loves hugging and being hugged, do her hair, brushes her teeth and flossing.
She is a happy go lucky girl. We are so proud of her.
Downside of Nadia : Mommy has been working on the potty training, she has been pooping in the big potty, but talking about peeing, it's very hard for her to get it that she has to pee in the potty, otherwise her underwear (yes, mommy tried to put her on the big girl training pants underwear) will get wet. She would peed in her underwear, but at the same time, she doesn't want to wear real diaper. After a while mom got tired of washing her wet underwear and put her on the diaper, she would say : No, Mommy, no diaper. Let's see what happens in the future. Here in this picture, Nadia is wearing big girl underwear, mommy tried to put dress on her so she won't change her clothes everytime (no wet pants, please). This is her favorite spot drinking from her straw bottle, enjoying the view outside and watching Rolie Polie Olie.

First day at preschool and accident.
Mom dropped Nadia to school, and after that, not far from the school at the red light, a junior driver (senior high student) hit Mom's car real hard. It was definitely not Mom's fault. He begged Sari for not having a police report, so we went to the autobody shop to get the estimate. Apparently the damage was pretty bad, and it cost so much money to fix it. So Mom called his father, and he came over to the autobody shop, then he decided to do it with insurance, of course then Mom need the police report, so we went to the police office to get a police report. The boy didn't have his driver's license with him, lucky him, the police didn't give him a ticket. It was a long day, Mom had to cancel some appointments and errands. It was rather shocking, too.
Thanks God, because it was not Sari's fault, the insurance won't ask for deductible, but the other insurance will pay for the deductible anyway if there is any.

Farewell Party
Nadia is moving to a new school which is really nearby the house, 2 minutes away, closer to the one she is in now, 10 minutes away. So we decided to invite her teachers and their family for a casual dinner. Nadia had great time playing with her teacher. We will miss you so much, Miss Bobbie and Miss Dawn!!!
Nadia will start the new school on Monday 20th, they will enroll her in a preschool class since she seems to be very advanced in thinking and language. She is just 2, and preschool requirement is 2.5 year old, but the director of the school wanted to try her. Mom is so excited with the Montessori method they use.
Weekly birthday present.

Class Picture
Nadia's pre-toddler classroom picture at Generations Together. This is the time when Nadia had been so clingy. She didn't let Mommy out of sight, so Mom ended up being in the picture, too.
No smile, Nadia ? We went to Chuckee Cheese's afterwards with her bestfriend from Generations Together, Tavis and his sister, Sydney.
Where is Nadia ?
In the morning, after drinking milk in Mommy's room, mommy wanted to bath Nadia, and after filling up the tub for Nadia, Mommy tried to get Nadia, she couldn't see her, she called :"Nadia, where are you?" She thought that she escaped to the living room downstairs, then she found out where she was... Is she still sleepy ? She found the pillow on the carpet, and try to sleep again....
