Nadia the kitty cat is now afraid of kitty cat

Today, the roads in our subdivision is being asphalt, so we got warning that it's better not to go out of the house. She we stayed. Our neighbor accross the street from us just lost her father in Pennsylvania. We found out that they were back. So I decided to come by to give our condolence, at the same time, Nadia loves June and Terry, and Clinton (fortunately, he, the son is on vacation from college), so it's great time just to hang out with them.
They have a house cat, DC, very friendly, but also loves to play. Nadia, who has been a kitty cat for the last 2 months, decided to get more friendlier and friendlier with DC... until finally she kept chasing him under the table, and she scratched Nadia on the hand. I thought DC doesn't have any paw anymore... but actually she still have the nail on the back legs which I didn't know.. we were having fun, so sudden we heard Nadia cried... so she got some boo boo from DC because this poor kitty cat is also scared because Nadia was getting wilder on her... so June washed her boo boo and put neosporin and bandages. She loved the bandages and stop crying, and said to me : "June fixed my boo boo, Mommy, Mommy doesn't fix my boo boo... " So I apologized to her and said that June is better than Mommy.
We had lunch there because we ended up had to wait because we couldn't cross the road as it was in the process of being asphalt.. and then every time Nadia sees DC.. she got so scared... We tried to explain to her that DC was scared at Nadia... don't be scared at DC.. still doesn't help..
Sigh.. now we have to work on loving a kitty cat again....

Every kid gets a cat scratch at some point, unfortunatly. Since you don't have cats you probably didn't know that they never remove a cat's back claws. So, whenever anyone tells you their cat is declawed, it is only the front. I have had more cat scratches than I can count!

Bella's first words were "HSSSSSSSS" as she and Blanche would pass each other by. She thought that was how cats say hello. One day I watched her do something that was totally unacceptable to Blanche who proceeded to open her paw to Belle's cheek. It was a very light gentle scratch (three of them) and the point was well made. At some point you need to find out that a kitty is not a toy!
