This is Nadia in the bathroom, having a swollen lip, I washed her lip and face, compressed it right away with ice. The swollen lip here is just half way when I found her crying.
We were ready to go out for grocery shopping, then there was a door bell. It was surprisingly (well, not too surprising) Kenna. She wanted to play with Nadia. I let her stay just for a bit, everything was okay, until I heard Nadia screamed and crying...
I was sorting out stuff for packing and I run to get her, she was bleeding.. her fingers got some blood. Nadia was frantic.. what happened : Kenna told me she pushed Aidan's new jumper towards Nadia and it hit really hard on her nose and lips. I brought her to the bathroom, washed her bloody hands, and checked her lips. I thought she had nose bleed, but her upper lip got cut real bad, and got so swollen. I got the ice pack right away, compressed her lips, until she calmed down.
I had to send Kenna home because Nadia was all upset... I was a bit upset, too because I am not looking forward to have Nadia got accident right before we leave to Syria. Everyone is looking forward to see Nadia.. hmm... with swollen lip ? Haha.
It is so funny, I had that bad feeling towards this today, the minute I saw Kenna on the door. I think it's just that accident. I have this vibe/aura that I just can't tell, I usually don't feel good for some reason then something bad is happening. My mom got that aura, too. I remember when I was little, my mom didn't let me do some specific stuff, then I didn't listen, something bad happened... hm.. maybe I should listen to my instict....

Nadia is looking at the mirror, watching her swollen lips which was significantly reduced.
Nadia : "Mommy, I remember when Kenna pushed the swing towards my nose, it hit my nose and lips, my lip is bleeding, and I cried. Then we exchange our lip, so Kenna get the swollen lip, and I got the good lip.
Me : hahaha.. no, dear, you can't exchange lip.. don't worry, it will get better.

so sorry to what happen with Nadia...... I hope she feels better soon...... i hope no marks left on her beautiful lips...... sorry for Kenna, i guess you should listen better to your instinct ;)
I'm sure it's just an accident, but I think it's a lot better to be prepared and cautious.
I know... but she is just a child. We got 3 messages on our phone when we got back from Syria from her, she really likes Nadia and wanted to play with her. Poor girl, we were out of the country. Being the youngest in the family, I know how it feels when everyone has grown up and don't play with you.
